Explain how an A.C. Generator works
A
As the coil spins, a current is induced, the current changes in direction every half turn
Slip rings and brushed ensure that the contacts don’t swap every half turn
They produce voltage as shown by the CRO displays
Increasing the rate of revolution increases the voltage
