Describe the organisation of the criminal justice system in England and Wales
What is the criminal justice system (CJS)?
the police, CPS, the courts and prisons work together to deliver criminal justice
what are the 4 main parts to the CJS?

-department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, crime, fire, counter-terrorism and police

-Over sees magistrates, crown court, the appeals, the legal services, hm prisons and probation
