pharyngeal trauma
What causes a sole abscess?
bruising on the sole from stones, irregular ground or other trauma, can become infected if chronic
How would you treat a sole abscess?
drain, foot baths, poultices, keep horse in dry stall, pack cavity

subsolar abscess
How is a subsolar abscess diagnosed?
palpable heat in hoof and bounding digital pule
What does caseous mean?
inspissated or dry pus
What causes abscesses in rabbits?
bite wounds, infections of tooth roots and tear ducts
What is some info about abscesses in rabbits?
thick and chunky, do not liquefy, do not drain well, surgical drains usually ineffective
Do rabbit abscesses have a high probability of reoccuring?
