Gurgles (ronchi)
A
Low pitched, continuous,bubbling. Heard in larger airways during exp. (wet snoring)

Wheezes
A
Whistling, sneezing, air moving through narrow passage. Heard anywhere in chest through insp and exp.

Rubs
A
Grating, leathery. Two dry surfaces moving over each other.

Crackles
A
Irregular, high pitched,popping, heard in distant areas of the lungs. Heard primarily during insp. Fluid moving through periphery of lungs. (Milk in rice crispy cereal)
