Does oxytocin help cervical dilation?
no it only helps the contractions

When can a pt opt to induce labor?
39 weeks
What are the contraindication for labor induction
Prior c section prior uterine rupture active genital herpes placenta previa, vasa previa or cord prolapse cervical ca Transverse fetal lie cat 3 fetal heart tracing
When would you attempt an external cephalic version?
greater than or equal to 36 weeks so it doesn’t flip back
