The Hamsa is a Hand symbol that is supposed to prevent you from bad luck (against evil eye). Can be seen in multiple different forms, bracelets, necklaces, or even pictures. Also called Fatima.

18 is an auspicious number in Judaism
When people give donations it is usually a denomination of the number 18.
What is the Menorah?
2 menorahs
The menorah was used as decoration in synagogues
The original one has 7 candles
The special Hannakuh Menorah has 9 candles
Supposed to Glorify the place of god
Not obligated to light it

No biblical significance
As time went on it kept growing more important which ended up relating to the symbol of Judaism
The reason for the name is for King David

What is a Kippah?
It is not a requirement to wear a Kippah but it is very common among men
It is a sign of respect

It is made with parchment with the phrase on how you need to keep the tefillin on the head, arms, and Mezuzah on the post

What is the Tallit?
Prayer Shawl
As described in the Torah - supposed to wear a garment that has fringes on the side
When seeing fringes you are supposed to remember to discipline yourself
Worn always at morning prayer - 7 days a week- required
What is the Tallifin?
Usually worn during morning prayers but only during the week
Keep commandments in mind
Wear or have on arms, head, and doorpost
Required to wear once a day but no specific time of day

How did we get to earth? Birth story?
God created the world with nothing. The world was made by god drawing three drops of water and three drops of fire from the celestial Torah, which made the world. The first people were Adam and Eve

Yes, but Jews believe that you mustn’t say God’s name, you should say Adoni.
Where does evil come from?
Some people believe that evil comes from the first sin of Adam and Eve.

The Immortal of the soul and the physical resurrection of the body at a time in the future
