What do the left and right common iliac arteries divide into?
Right and left internal iliac and femoral arteries
Artery closest to the inguinal ligament
Femoral
Blood supply to the adrenal glands
The 3 suprarenal arteries
Why are the gonadal arteries situated at a relatively high level to their organs they supply
This is because during early fetal life, the gonads begin to develop up next to the kidneys before migrating downwards to their proper positions. They get their blood supply from where they started, not from where they end up.
Why are the lumbar arteries not easily visible?
The lumbar arteries arise posteriorly
