Q
Abdomen AP
A
Position:
- Sacrum is aligned with symphysis pubis
- Spinous process is aligned with midline of vertebral bodies
- Iliac wings are symmetrical
Area:
- 8 vertebra, lateral body soft tissue, iliac wings
- Diaphragm domes are superior to 9th posterior ribs

Q
KUB AP
A
Position:
- Sacrum is aligned with symphysis pubis
- Spinous process are aligned with midline of vertebral bodies
- Iliac wings are symmetrical
Area:
-T12, lateral body soft tissue, iliac wings and SP

Q
Cervical spine AP
A
- Spinous process are aligned with midline of vertebral bodies
- Mandibular rami and mastoid tips are equidistant from cervical vertebrae
- Articular process and pedicles are symmetrically lateral to cervical bodies
- Distance from vertebral column to medial clavicular ends are equal
Area:
-C2 to C7 and surrounding soft tissue
4
Q
Cervical spine Lateral
A
Position:
- Spinous process shown
- Right and left zygapophyseal joints are superimposed
- C1 and C2 are not superimposed by mandible
- Cranial cortices and mandibular rami are superimposed
- C1 posterior arch and C2 spinous process are not superimposed by occipital base
Area:
-Sella turcica, C1 to C7, superior half of T1 and soft tissue

Q
Cervical spine Flexion and Extension
A
Position:
- Spinous process shown
- Right and left zygapophyseal joints are superimposed
- Long axis demonstrates forward bending (flex)
- Long axis demonstrates backward bending (ext)
Area:
-Sella turcica, C1 to C7, superior half of T1 and soft tissue

Q
Cervical spine Oblique
A
Position:
- C2 to C7 intervertebral foramina are open and uniform in size
- Intervertebral disk spaces are open
- Cervical vertebrae are seen individually and uniform in size
- Upper cervical vertebrae are not superimposed by mandible or occipital
- Right and left posterior cranial cortices and mandible are aligned
Area: C1 to C7, T1 and soft tissue
