oblique passageway made up of internal oblique, transverse abdominus, and transversalis fascia. It connects the extra-peritoneal space to scrotum or labia majora
what passes through the inguinal canal?
males: spermatic cord
females: not an opening it is where the round ligament of the uterus attaches
what is the spermatic cord
vas deferenes, blood vessels, lymphatics, nerves, and cremaster muscles
