when should you give TXA?
IV bolus followed by infusion in major haemorrhage
indications for CT within 1 hour
- GCS <13 on initial assessment
- GCS <15 at 2 hours after injury
- suspected open or depressed skull fracture
- any signs of basal skull fracture
- post-traumatic seizure
- focal neurological deficit
- more than 1 episode of vomiting
CT cervical spine indications for within 1 hour
GCS <13 on initial assessment
