Instrument Flight Rules
One of two sets of regulations governing civil aviation aircraft operations. (The other is VFR.) The set of regulations for when a pilot operates an aircraft when they can’t see clearly enough. There are 5 critical parts of an IFR clearance, C.R.A.F.T.

A

A

Mean Sea Level, the true altitude or elevation. It’s the average height above standard sea level where the atmospheric pressure is measured in order to calibrate altitude.
