Fuel Penalty Factors

referenced when any ECAM alert that:
- “increased fuel consumption” in STATUS pg
- displays flight control sfc in INOP sys
- impacts ldg gear or doors retraction (when extended)
Trip Fuel Penalty = (FOB - FOD) x (FPF 1 + 2 …)

At MDA/DA or earlier if visual - disengage FINAL APP mode by pressing APPR pb

Capt/STBY ~300’, reasonable, 6 kts
STBY compass +/- 8 deg in cruise
Altitudes +/- 200 RVSM
APU Starter Cycle
3 attempts followed by 60 min cooling.
ENG Starter
4 (each max 2mins duration - 20s between)
15 min cooling
Battery Voltage
> = 25.5 v ensures approx 50% charge. If <25.5 v 20min charge cycle is required.
Charge cycle required if at least one battery is not <60a in < 10sec
