Q

Main Premies:

A

Conservatives VS liberal journalism. The internet has made journalists afraid to make errors causing them to be very cautious. The internet has destroyed journalistic credibility. Journalists say they are objective, but like everyone they truly aren’t. Journalists should just admit to their bias. Advertisers are flexing their muscles in order to force articles to change. Journalists are human and they should have the same rules as everyone else. They shouldn’t have benefits from government or sources.

Q

Concept: New Creed for Journalism

A

1) Let subjects have their say, but say who is lying.
2) Take personal responsibility for the accuracy of a story. Admit mistakes and try until you succeed.
3) Declare your agenda. Everyone has one, be honest about yours.
4) Be fair and accurate. Screw balance, go for accuracy.
