Q

Does the Individual Differences take an “idiographic” or “nomothetic” Approach and what does this term mean?

A

The Individual Differences Approach takes an “idiographic” approach, suggesting all individuals are unique and therefore it’s not possible to make generalisations from one person to explain the behaviour of another even if the circumstances are the same.
