1) Gravol - 50 mg IM/PO (No Patch)

OR

2) Zofran - 4 mg/50 mL > 15 min (check QT) (last dose > 4 hrs)

MDSO: GI Bleed : Treatment/Drugs/Dose/ Considerations

Answer 3

1) NS at 20 mL/kg (no patch)

2) Consider Blood Products / AntiCoag Reversal / TXA (not likely in abdo bleeds) - PATCH

3) Pantoprazole : 80 mg Bolus, then Infuse 8 mg/hr (MP)

4) Octreotide : 50 mcg Bolus > 3 min, then infuse at 50 mcg/hr

**Consider:
Ceftriaxone 1g /50 mL > 10 min
Call MD for potential for Bakri Balloon or Clipping
***MAY HAVE TO INTUBATE with 2 x SUCTION and Head Up…..ensure ability to ventilate prior to Paralytic.
