Berberis Aristata

Note: Darvi is its synonim.
Decoction of darvi added with equal quantity of milk is boiled and reduced to one fourth of the total quantity and allowed to cool. After it becomes thick jelly it is called Rasanjana (darvirasanjana) and is highly beneficial to the eyes (when used as collerium)
