Brings HR down
Digoxin toxicity—> levels should below 2
Halo vision, dizziness, blurred vision, low potassium—>should be above 3.5,N/V, Diarrhea
Anticoagulant- Heparin
Heparin (monitor aPtt&ptt)
Therapeutic response should be 2x more than normal
aPTT—>30-40 (43)
Ptt—>60-70 (73)
protamine sulfate—>antidote
Anticoagulant
Enoxaparin, Xarelto, apixaban
Anticoagulant Warfarin
Vitamin K antidote
Watch diet/ no green leafy
Monitor pt/inr—> 2x than regular values
Pt: 11.0-12.5
INR: 0.8-1.1–>2 or 3 is expected
Calcium Channel blockers
Slow HR down
Cardizem
Diltiazem
Beta blockers—>RVR
Metoprolol; slows HR down
If drugs aren’t working and pt become unstable, hemodynamic,
C/O is 2, CV
