Keirsey-Bates Test for Temperment
Asks many questions to gauge what sort of temperament an individual has. The results of the test are flexible, but overall in life one should take their temperament into consideration
Extrovert vs. Introvert
Extrovert = Outgoing, social, US society is mostly this, and talkative.
Introvert = Quiet, doesn’t like large groups, often given a bad wrap for being shy.
Sensing vs.Intuitive
Sensing = Realists, percieve world in a factual way, maintain objective view of reality, and are detailed oriented.
Intuitive = Not good with crisis, interested in possibilities of a situation, perceive the world through intuition, and are idealists.
Thinking vs. Feeling
Thinking = Impersonal, seek the truth, explain things in a technical way, law, not fond of emotional types, and natural mathematicians.
Feeling = Personal, subjective reasoning, values, heart controlled, tuned into tone of situation, and can feel tension.
Judging vs. Perceiving
Judging = Want to know whats going on, hard workers, punctual, early, and planners.
Perceiving = Keeping all possibilities open, procrastination, planning and timely matters aren’t important.
Ego
Contains mental functions, plan, attend, rational,
Persona
How one deals with other people, develop persona’s throughout life.
Ex) Teacher, husband, student
“mass” archetype of the horizontal. How we deal with and present ourselves to the world.
Shadow
Unconsious, controls impulsive actions like flipping someone off or overeating.
Psychological Functions and Attitudes
Introvert/Extrovert, Thinking/Feeling, Sensing/Intuitive, Judging/perceiving.
The Intuitive Eye
Eye deep in self. Ancient eye. Able to see in a vertical way.

Busy, organized, actions reinforced.
