What does it mean if a PB is pressed in?
ON/AUTO/OVRD/OPEN
What does it mean if a PB is pressed out?
OFF/MAN/ALTN/SHUT
PB switch being green means?
Normal system operation
PB switch being blue means?
Normal system operation, but only temporary
PB switch being amber means?
There is a fault which requires crew attention, but not immediately
PB switch being red means?
There is a fault which requires immediate crew attention.
PB switch being white means?
Abnormal pushbutton position
PB having two dots means?
That part of the pushbutton isn’t used
What does it mean if an OEB is red?
It should be applied immediately, might have an impact on safety, and needs to be memorised.
What does it mean if an OEB is white?
It should be applied within 30 days, might have an impact on aircraft operation, doesnt need to be memorised.
