how to differentiate both types of pneumothorax?
A
- spontaneous (rupture of emphysema bleb)
- trachea moves toward injured side - tension (trauma)
- trachea moves away from injured side.

Tx for tension pneumothorax
A
- chest tube to suck air out.
- in tension pneumothorax, air is sucked in through opening, but cannot escape
