• between sunset and sunrise
• at a distance of less then 10m from any building, structure, hedge, fence, vehicular roadway or overhead wire or obstruction of any kind or nature whatsoever
• if the wind velocity is greater than 24kph
• ensuring a competent person is in immediate attendance to supervise and extinguish promptly in event of spread at specific place of burning
• ensuring fire is completely extinguished
• unless 5m space clear of combustible material around perimieter of fire
• where fire conatins rubber tires, plastics, or other products known to create extensive smoke, and
• unless in compliance with Environment Protection Act, RSO, 1990, c.E. 19 as amended.

   • space free and clear of 5m around perimeter of fire
3. the fire is not more than .5m in area and is not more than .5m in height
4. fire is set and confined in metal/ masonry container with metal screen and top having a mesh of not larger than 1/2 inch
