October Revolution
24th - 25th of October, 1917 - Trotsky and Sverdlov organise the revolution in finality, sending out troops of the Red Guard to take over areas of importance in the city (telephones, bridges etc.)
25th - 26th of October, 1917 - The Bolsheviks launch an assault on the Winter Palace. At 2:00 am that night Bolsheviks made their way in and arrested all remaining members of the government.
