PROS vs open ended interviewing for psych pt
PROS is more reliable than open ended, bc sometimes pts wont bring things up unless prompted

what is important to monitor for a pt on Lithium?
serum drug levels 2x/week until stable, then q2mo until chronic stead dose, then q6-12mo
pt with depression and psychotic features: start on what meds?
antidepressant + antipsychotic
why not just start an antidepressant only in a depressed pt who is 24 or younger?
can precipitate SI and worsen depression
