Q

show

A

SHOW your tutor-mentor your MCAT Journal and highlight the notes you took on each passage attempted during Group Session or on practice tests. You should have been tracking each occurrence of each CAR blueprint, noting what you learned, and setting improvement goals. You also committed to attend 100% of the Group Session so that you wouldn’t miss out on valuable CAR practice. Did you have a 100% attendance record?

Q

mentoring together

A

1) TOGETHER with your tutor-mentor, attempt and analyze at least one CAR passage that was difficult for you during Group Session. Alternate reading—you read the first half of the passage out loud and let your tutor-mentor read the second half. When you attempt the questions, take turns working individual questions out loud.
 REMEMBER: Your tutor earned an incredible CAR score or else he or she wouldn’t be working for Altius. They did this, and you can to. They are there to help you and they want to help in any way they can. Together, the two of you can figure this out.
2) TOGETHER with your tutor, do one Speed Drill and one Comprehension Drill.
