Q

mechanism:

How antiphospholipid AB syndrome induces thrombosis….

A
  1. interfere w/ endogenous anticoagulants
  2. Binding and activation of platelets
  3. interact w/ endothelial cells and induce the expression of adhesion molecules and TF
  4. Activation of the complement cascade??? - but there is no classic inflammation so this is questionable!
