-gradually decreasing since many of the people living in rural areas are either farmers or much older people who preferred not to move to the city so while the rest of their family is moving to the city they are left behind.

  • greatly increasing since many people from rural areas will move to the city for better opportunities. normally it is families who move to the city or married couples who want their future children to have a better life with more opportunities then they did.
    also less developed region have a much larger population than more develpoed regions

pull factors= employment, education and higher standards of living

  • gradually decreasing since from 1980 the population in less developed urban cities has increased dramatically to a point where in a few years it will have 2x the population that less developed rural towns and areas have.

it is a city that has global significance. such as france which everyone only knows becuase of the eiffel tower also new york since it’s one of the worlds leading cities because of it’s economic power and number of large succesful coporations.
