8-Step Listing Presentation Script

Before we get started … I’d like to thank you for inviting me over to talk with you about the sale of your home. I am aware that you could have invited any, or all the 7000 plus Realtors in our local Board to sit right here in the chair I am sitting in, and I am both humbled and grateful to be the one sitting here.

Most Realtors will begin by telling you how great they are. I am not going to start by telling you all about me and how fabulous Keller Williams is (and it is) … I’d like to start by asking what is important to you in the sale of your property.

What I’d like to do first is take you through the selling process. I have broken the selling process down into 8 steps. If we do all 8 steps completely, we’re successful and the house sells.

Step 1 is to take a look at current market conditions. I’m sure you’ve heard from your neighbors and co-workers that sales are down, or you may have heard that sales are up. My goal today is to give you a clear understanding of our market and what it means to you.

Step 7 Quite frankly, this is where our work begins. When we start receiving offers, qualifying the buyer, making sure they can afford to buy, helping negotiate the best price and the best terms. We are going to oversee appraisals, inspections, contingencies, disclosures, and much, much more. Until we ultimately get to Step 8 … which is getting you settled into your new home.
