Patient is seated along edge of table ensure patients legs are not under the table
Raise table height to have entire upper limb at same height and plane
Pronate the hand with palm + fingers flat + parallel to the IR
Extend + separate fingers
Centering for DP finger
Proximal IP joints of the affected + adjacent fingers
Collimation for DP finger
Collimate to include soft tissue of finger tops up to distal 3rd of MC bones
