What are the abnormal responses to exercise?
- Unusual or severe fatigue
- Chest Pain
- Pain in teeth, jaw, arms, or ears
- Lightheadedness
- Dizziness
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Headache
- Rales/crackles
- SOB out of proportion to work
- Pallor
- Ataxia
- Blunt/Flat SBP Response
- SBP Drop >10mmHg
- Hypertensive Response
- Irregular Pulse after
- HR>THR
- Flat/Blunt HR Response
- HR drop
- HR incr out of proportion to work
- Mental confusion
What could pain in teeth, jaw, arms, or ears indicate?
MI
What could lightheadedness/dizziness indicate?
Low blood sugar, dehydration, HR problem
What could nausea/vomiting indicate?
Something cardiac or hyponatremia
What could headache indicate?
Aneurysm
What do rales/crackles indicate?
Active CHF
What does SOB out of proportion to work indicate?
Sarcoidosis
What does a blunt/flat SBP response indicate?
Autonomic dysfxn
What does SBP drop >10mmHg indicate?
LVD
What does a DBP change of 10mmHg mean?
Severe cardiac disease
What does a drop in HR mean?
Problem w/SA node or autonomic dysfxn
What does HR incr out of proportion to work rate mean?
Issues w/stroke volume
