Administrative Finality
Once SSA makes a disability determination it becomes final, the decision will stand as the final word on the matter unless new and material evidence is presented or a obvious gross error becomes evident

How long is a complete medical history?

Alleged onset date- Date CLMT alleges they became unable to work due to impairments

Potential onset date- Earliest date FO alerts DDS to for EOD bases on non-medical factors
EOD
Established onset date- First date CLMT meets the definition of disability and all the relevant eligibility factors
When determining onset, what are the 6 factors we consider?
- AOD
- POD
- Claim type
- SGA
- Medical evidence
- Non-medical evidence
The most favorable EOD for a DIB claim is the earliest day that all the following factors are met:
- CLMT is not working SGA
- CLMT meets medical severity of disability
- CLMT is actually insured for benefits
