For TA
Look for traffic using display as a guide and reduce range. PF maneuver only if needed
PM exterior lights on
RA above 1000 agl
Autopilot and autothrottle off, smoothly adjust pitch and thrust to satisfy RA command. Follow the lateral path unless visual comtact with traffic requires other action
PM extrrior lights on, advise ATC
RA below 1000 agl
Automation off, advance thrust levers forward to maximum thrust and call flaps 20, smoothly adjust pitch for RA but plan to follow later info unless visual separation disctates otherwise.
Upset recovery
Start by taking automation off, break the stall first (pitch forward, reduce thrust, roll), roll wings level, adjust pitch and thrust to return to normal flight. Call stall if in a stall.
Gpws
“Firewall”, automation off, aggressive maximum thrust, wings level and 20 degrees nose up, retract speedbrakes, fly beyind 20* if terrain is a threat go to pitch limit indicator or stick shaker or initial buffer
Windshear manual
“Firewall, push TOGA switch, agressive to max thrust, automation all off, wings level and 15 • nose up, retract speed brakes and follow FD
PM monitor actions and max thrust.
NB no config changes until clear, dont try and recover lost airspeed until clear
Windshear auto kode
“Firewall”, push TOGA, verify fma toga and thrust, retract speedbrakes.
PM monitor GA, verify all actions,
NB no config changes, monitor v/s, alt, don’t try and regain lost air speed
