757 Recall Items Flashcards
Stall Recovery
1) Disconnect A/P and A/T
2) Smoothly pitch nose down until buffet or stick shaker stops
3) Roll in shortest direction to wings level
4) Advance Thrust Levers as needed
5) Retract Speedbrakes
6) Do not change Gear/Flap Config (During liftoff if flaps are up call for flaps 1)
6) Complete the recovery
Airspeed Unreliable
1) Autopilot Disconnect
2) A/T Arm Switch OFF
3) F/Dās OFF
Flaps Extended:
10Deg / 75% N1
Flaps Up:
4Deg / 75% N1
Dual Engine Failure
1) ENG Start Selectors to FLT
2) Thrust Levers to IDLE
3) Fuel Control Switches CUTOFF then RUN
Repeat Step 3 if needed
Aborted Engine Start
1) Fuel Control Switch CUTOFF
Engine Fire / Engine Severe Damage or Separation
1) A/T Arm Switch OFF
2) Thrust Lever IDLE
3) Fuel Control Switch CUTOFF
4) Engine Fire Switch PULL
(If Fire Warning Light Illuminated)
5) Engine Fire Switch Rotate to Stop and Hold for 1 Second
(If After 30 Seconds the Fire Warning Remains)
6) Engine Fire Switch Rotate to the Other Stop and Hold for 1 Second
Engine Limit/Surge/Stall
1) A/T Arm Switch OFF
2) Thrust Lever Retard (Until engine indications stay within limits or the thrust is at idle)
TCAS RA
1) Disconnect A/P and A/T
2) Adjust Pitch and Thrust to satisfy RA
3) When clear of conflict return to ATC Clearance
(If in landing Config - Disconnect A/P and A/T and Perform Go/Around)
GPWS (Pull Up)
1) Disconnect A/P and A/T
2) Aggressively apply Maximum Thrust
3) Roll Wings Level and Rotate to Pitch Attitude of 20 Deg
4) Verify Speedbrake Down
5) If terrain remains a threat - continue rotation up to pitch limit indicator or stick shaker
Windshear
1) Disconnect A/P
2) Push G/A Switch
3) Aggressively apply Maximum Thrust
4) Disconnect A/T
5) Roll Wings Level and Rotate towards 15 Deg Nose Up
6) Retract Speedbrakes
7) Do not change Flap/Gear Config
RTO
1) Close Thrust Levers and Disconnect A/T
2) Verify Operation of Autobrakes or apply maximum brakes
3) Raise Speedbrake
4) Apply Reverse Thrust
5) Stop on runway
6) Set Parking Brake
Upset Recovery Nose High
1) Disconnect A/P and A/T
2) Pitch Nose Down
3) Reduce Thrust
4) Roll to obtain Nose Down pitch rate
5) Recover
Upset Recovery Nose Low
1) Disconnect A/P and A/T
2) Roll in shortest direction to Wings Level
3) Pitch Up
3) Recover
Cabin Altitude
1) Don the Oxygen Masks
2) Establish Crew Communications
3) Check Cabin Rate and Altitude
4) If Cabin Altitude Uncontrollable
5) Descend MSA / 10,000ā whichever higher
6) Thrust Idle / Extend Speedbrake / VMO or MMO
