Doors
A
- 4 cabin doors
- Single Lane Slides (slides can be used as flotation devices)
- No power assist if opened in armed mode
- Do NOT disarm automatically if opened from outside
- Open inward then pushed outward & forward
- L1 door spring-assisted for easier opening
- When cabin door closed from outside push down firmly on door handle til reached furthest position 180 degrees. If not at door when closed must complete step prior to ac movement.
- ARMED indicator: girt bar secured in floor brackets & floor bracket clip around bare metal at each end of girt bar
- DISARMED indicator: girt bar secured in stowage hooks on slide container. Stowage hooks hold girt bar on slimmer points. Stowage hooks not covering nylon (plastic) stop rings or red markings.
- Red Warning Strap: Indicates to anyone outside door is armed. Must be placed across window when armed.
- Advise PIC if gauge needle on slide gas bottle pressure gauge not in green zone. System is unusable

Over wing window, exit features

- 4 Overwing Window Exits.
- NOT fitted with slides (No manual inflation handle)
- Open out & up automatically once handle is pulled
- Advise PIC asap if plastic cover not properly installed over handle of window exit
- Evacuation rope attached to inside of AFT window frame

Life, raft
A
- Some ac equipped with life-rafts in ceiling compartments
- Survival kits embedded in life-raft.
- Supplement survival kit retrieved vicinity of L1 & OR placed in liferaft prior to release
- Unsnap pocket located at front end of carrying case to retrieve mooring line.
- Attach snap hook to fixed part of ac. If using overwing place at leading edge of wing. Pull MIH

Oxygen mask deployment failure
A
- PAX seats/Lavs: Insert hair pin-end or pointed side of oxygen release rod in pin hole of oxygen mask panel
- FA jumpseats: Insert flat surface of rod or any flat object in long edge closest 2 latch button of panel & pull down
- Under jumpseats L1 & L2

Oxygen system cabin
A
- FA stations & Lav Gaseous - as ac descends oxygen flows in decreased concentration till turned off by pilot. Main oxygen tank supplies oxygen.
2.Flow starts when 1 mask is pulled towards face and mouth.
- PAX seats: Generator based - min 12 min, can’t be shut off once started. Pulling one mask oxygen flow to all mask attached to that generator.
- Chemical oxygen generator supple oxygen.
- Masks: 1 extra every seat bank, 2 lav, 2 jumpseat
- Some masks have streamers that must be pulled w/ tab & reads PULL
- Line flow indicator green when oxygen flowing

Smoke detectors
A
- Phtoelectric (tamper resistant, green LED ‘Power On’ & red LED ‘Alarm On’
- Audible warning alarm horn from detector & chimes intermittently in area of affected lav
- Steady red alarm light on detector
- Amber lav call light flashes
- Amber la call light on nearest master cal light panel will flash
- To reset press INTERUPT/HORN CANCEL switch

Located in galleys w/ running water. FWD galley: Above coffee maker; AFT galley: floor lvl below trash compactor

- Photo-luminescent floor tract lighting.
- To charge close bins, turn lights “BRIGHT” minimum 5 min.
