  • Paleness / Apathy / Sweating
  • Disturbed Sleep
  • Malaise
  • Big Belly

CHANGED BONE STRUCTURES

  • Big SQUARE Head
  • UNSUTURED Fontanelles
  • CRANIOTABES (Soft Skull)
  • Kyphosis
  • Oedema around Wrists / Joints / Ankles
  • REDUCED Levels = Of Calcium / Phosphorus
  • INCREASED Levels = Of Alkaline Phosphatase / Parathyroid Hormone

  • Different Stages

1) ACUTE Stage

  • Pale EPIPHYSIS
  • Numerous Ossifications
  • Flat METAPHYSIS
  • THICKENED Periosteum

2) ACTIVE Stage I

  • IRREGULAR / NARROWED EPIPHYSIS
  • Wider METAPHYSIS
  • Thickening of Periosteum DISAPPEARS

3) RECOVERY Stage

  • NARROWING of Epiphysis LINE
  • CLOSING of the BONE-BONE Canal of DIAPHYSIS

  • Vitamin D = FOR 3,000 IU, DAILY
  • Prevent Bone Dislocation
  • Surgery = Correcting + De-rotating Osteotomies
