A

On the Night of June 20th 1791 Louis and his family attempted to escape but was recognised by a postmaster and was escorted back to Paris.

The Cordeliers club organised a meeting at the Champ de Mars on the 17th July 1791. 6000 attended, Lafayette was sent in with the National Guard and ended up firing on the crowds- killing 50.
