A natural resource that can be replaced at the same rate at which the resource is consumed.
Biomass
Energy produced by burning organic matter, such as wood, food scraps, and alcohol.
Hydroelectric Power
Electricity produced by flowing water.
Geothermal Energy
Heat energy within the earth.

Fuel from plants (corn, barley, and wheat).
Wind Energy
Energy from moving air particles.
Solar Energy
Energy from the sun.
Non Renewable Resources
A resource that forms at a rate that is much slower than the rate at which the resource is consumed.
Nuclear Energy
Energy released from the nucleus of an atom.
Fossil Fuels
Fuel from once living organisms (oil, natural gas, and coal).
