-people chose whether to accept or reject salvation by following Jesus’ teachings (or not)
-the Holy Spirit guides peoplemtowards salvation
-it is still an ongoing process

-salvation will be completed at the end of time (sin and death will be destroyed)
-this is the final victory of God’s grace
