-the lectern should be in a prominent place in the church (the front),so people can see and clearly hear the word of God

-it reminds Christians of the suffering that Jesus went through to save humanity
-it inspires gratitude and love for all that he has done for humans (forgiveness of their sins)

-its the place of sacrifice,where the bread and wine are offered during mass
-when the bread and wine is offered it actually becomes the body and blood of Christ (Christ is truly present on the altar,offering himself to God on behalf of humanity)
-God then enforces the lives and faith when the receive the bread and wine during communion

-it houses the real presence of Christ
-it can inspire a deep sense of peace
-The consecrated Bread that is saved in the tabernacle
can be taken to people who can’t get to Mass, such
as those who are too ill to leave their homes, so they
can still receive Holy Communion
