Define permanent employee?
It is an ongoing employee who doesn’t have a fixed term. An example of this would be a teacher who doesn’t have a specific date they have to leave.
Define a fixed term employee.
They are an employee who has a specific time when they stop working for the business. An example of this would be a football player signing a contract for 2 years.
Define casual employee.
It is an employee who has irregular hours and goes into work whenever they are called in. Casual employees have a higher hourly rate compared to a part-time worker because they have no leave probation.
Define part-time employee.
They are an employee who have set hours per week who can be permanent or fixed term. They also get sick leave.
