Q

In a paragraph of five to eight sentences, explain how static electricity occurs in the form of lightning. Remember to use proper grammar and mechanics when writing your paragraph.

A

Your Answer:
Lightning is an example of static electricity. Lightning is an electric current. In the thundercloud, ice and water keep bumping into each other, resulting in electric charges. This makes the protons form at the top of the cloud, and the electrons form at the bottom. Beneath the cloud, a positive charge builds up on the ground. Finally, the positive charge on the ground connects with the negative charge in the cloud, which creates a lightning strike.

Q

In three to five complete sentences, explain two ways God keeps a balance in nature. Remember to use proper grammar and mechanics when writing your sentences.

A

Your Answer:
God keeps balance in nature by creating ecosystems in perfect amounts and putting the correct number of producers and predators in those ecosystems. God also made atoms which need to have the perfect balance of negative and positive charges. Therefore it is easy to see that God truly keeps balance in nature.
