Taiyang Attack of cold / Wind-Cold
(Symptoms)
Taiyang channel pattern
- HEADACHE
- STIFF NECK (Qi is obstructed bc of wind)
- AVERSION TO COLD
- NO SWEATING (cold contracts the pores)
- Sneezing (LU can’t diffuse Qi in nose)
- Runny nose (white discharge) (can’t transform fluid in nose)
- Body aches
- Fever
Pulse: FLOATING AND TIGHT (tight from cold)
Taiyang Attack of Cold (Wind/cold)
(TXP and Points)
TX: Release exterior, expel wind + cold, restore LU Qi

- Fever
- Slight thirst
- Aversion to cold (pathogen is still exterior)
Pulse: Floating + rapid (wind still exterior)
Taiyang - Accumulation of Water
(TXP + Points)
TXP: Release exterior, promote BL Function of Qi formation, promote excretion of fluids
PTS:
LU 7 - release exterior
CV 3 - benefits BL and lower jiao

Pulse:
Deep + Fine + Rapid (blood stasis obstructs blood vessels)
Or
Deep + choppy
