- HEADACHE
- STIFF NECK (Qi is obstructed bc of wind)
- AVERSION TO COLD
- NO SWEATING (cold contracts the pores)
- Sneezing (LU can’t diffuse Qi in nose)
- Runny nose (white discharge) (can’t transform fluid in nose)
- Body aches
- Fever
Pulse: FLOATING AND TIGHT (tight from cold)
Taiyang Attack of Cold (Wind/cold)

TX: Release exterior, expel wind + cold, restore LU Qi

- OCCIPITAL HA + STIFF NECK (Qi is obstructed by wind)
- SLIGHT AVERSION TO COLD
- Slight sweating
- Sneezing (LU can’t diffuse Qi in nose)
- Aversion to wind
- Slight fever (struggle btw exterior wind + body Qi)
-Pulse: FLOATING + SLOW

- Aversion to cold (pathogen is still exterior)
Pulse: Floating + rapid (wind still exterior)

Tongue: reddish-purple w/ no coat

Deep + Fine + Rapid (blood stasis obstructs blood vessels)

(Symptoms)
Yang Ming Organ Pattern - ST (Heat With Form)
- CONSTIPATION + DRY STOOLS (heat injures body fluids, leads to dry intestines)
- High Fever worse in PM
- Thirst
- Profuse sweating - sweating on limbs
- Abdominal fullness + pain
- Dark Urine
Pulse: DEEP + FULL + SLIPPERY + RAPID (fire is deeper in body)
Tongue: Red w/ thick dry yellow coat
