On the Last Day, the living and the dead will get a new body that they will need to be judged by God, and sent to either Heaven or Hell.

A
They think that it lives in the spirit world, and their afterlives will depend on how they lived this one.

- Those who die with their sins all forgiven will go straight to heaven.
- Those with unforgiven sins will go to Purgatory to be purified before going to heaven.
- At the end of the world, all will be judged and will be sent to either Heaven or Hell.

A
It shows them that they need to live a good life, so that they do not get sent to hell.
