They mark occasions in life and are outward signs that an inward gift has been given by God

To become members of the Church and remove their sins

Why are Baptists and Pentecostals different?
Because they are baptised as adults
What do Catholics and Orthodox Christians believe about bread and wine in the eucharist?
They believe that it changes to the blood and body of Jesus. This is called transubstantiation.
What do Protestants believe about the eucharist?
They remember what Jesus and his disciples did at the Last Supper.
What do all Christians believe about the bread and the wine in the eucharist?
That it represents the blood and body of Christ and it unites them with Jesus and with each other.
