Adverbs are words that add to or modify the information conveyed by the verb (e.g., trabaja), an adjective (e.g., fuerte), or another adverb (rápidamente). You are already familiar with some words that are adverbs such as mucho, poco, ahora, nunca, bien, muy, etc. There is another group of adverbs that end in –mente (-ly). They are derived from the feminine form of an adjective.
- Trabaja responsablemente como camarero [He works responsibly as a waiter]
