Netstat command
Generates displays that show network status and protocol statistics

NetFlow data
Used to perform monitoring, troubleshooting, inspection, interpretation, and synthesis of network traffic flow data.
Show ip cache flow
-displays NetFlow accounting statistics
Show ip flow-export
-more advanced accounting statistics than show ip cache flow
-includes main cache and all other enabled cache
Show mls NetFlow ip
-displays NetFlow ip entries
Iperf command
Network performance utility that can generate tcp and UDP traffic to test bandwidth, latency, and packet loss
Iptables (Linux)
Used to edit rules enforced by the Linux kernel firewall
-can change input, output, and forward chains that are firewall rulesets
IPAM
IP address management
-Designed to scan DHCP and DNS servers and log IP address usage to a database.
-Can be used to manage and reconfigure DHCP and DNS servers remotely.
Ip scanner
Used to monitor network’s IP address space in real-time and identify any devices connected.
-essentially sends ping to every IP and creates report of which give a response.
