If there is no article in front of the adjective, how is it to be translated?
It’s translated with a linking verb. i.e. “to be, become”.
Translate the phrase “τὰ ἐμὰ”. What form is it?
my own (sheep/people etc). Substantive.
Translate the phrase “ὁι ἄγγελοι μακάριοι”. What form is it?
the angels are blessed. Predicate
Translate the phrase “τά καλὰ ἔργα”. What form is it?
the good works. Attributive.
Translate the phrase “ὁ ἀπόστολος ὅσιος”. What form is it?
the apostle is holy. Predicate.

The earth is good. Predicate.

What is the form of the Predicate Adjective?
Adjective + Article + Noun OR Article + Noun + Adjective
What is the form of the Substantive Adjective and what’s missing?
Article + Adjective. The noun is missing. It is understood but it is not there.
