What is shadadah?
Special statement/declaration of faith. If you say it 3 times it means you are a good Muslim. There is no other god but Allah. It is whispered to new born babies, and as they die. First words at morning and night.
What is salat?
Salat means prayer 5 times a day. At dawn, midday, late afternoon, after sunset and between sunset and midnight.
What is zakah?
Giving money to people that have less than you, being thankful. Every year Muslims are expected to give 2.5% of their wages to charity. Being an offering to Allah, to not give Zakah would mean cheating Allah and poorer Muslims.
What is sawm?
Sawm is fasting during the day in the month of Ramadan it shows your love for Allah and sacrifice
What is Hajj?
Pilgrimage to Mecca- everyone must go at least once in there life to show everyone is equal to Allah. For Muslims Makkah is the holy place, only go if you can afford.
