What is the difference between shell and core condition, Cat A fitout and Cat B fitout?

A

Shell and core condition: basic structural framework of a building, including the exterior walls, floors, and roof, but leaving the interior space unfinished for the tenant to fit out.

Cat A: to grade A with standard specification (ceiling height 2.6-2.8, 150mm raised floor void.

Cat B: to complete fit out to the occupiers specific requirements. Some landlords do this to reduce void periods between lettings.
