What is pacifism?
A
The belief that war and violence is unjustifiable.

What is Hijrah?
A
The event when Muhammad was forced to leave Makkah due to people using violence against him for spreading Allah’s message.

What is passive resistance?
A
The belief in non violent protests, e.g. boycotts, sit-ins. Sufi Muslims are a group that promote peaceful protests such as these.

What is the Arab Spring?
A
Democratic uprisings that took place in Arab countries in 2011. Some protesters used violence, others used the political system to try to remove oppressors.
