Autoimmune disease of the CNS characterized by chronic inflammation, demyelination, gliosis (plaques or scarring) and neuronal loss; course can be relapsing and progressive
Multiple sclerosis
Particularly suggestive of multiple sclerosis
Bilateral intranuclear opthalmoplegia
One and a half syndrome
Horizontal gaze palsy plus an intranuclear ophthalmoplegia
